Back to the Creative Journey

We've been away for a while... OK, not for a while. It took few years to get back. Everybody sometimes needs a break. A break from everything. A break for summing up, for overthinking, for clearing the goals, the purposes, the meanings. Some of us are still in the same path, making the same things. Some of us have said goodbye to Etsy platform, at least for a while or maybe forever. Some of us just changed their lives. We all change. Everything is changing.

But we are back. Hopefully, this time we'll be much more active here. Hope you've missed us!
And as we are back, below you can see some of our works - click each image for more.

Hello Ween

When the dark and the cold starts to embrace us, we start to feel the presents of the other side more and more. It is the part of the deep unknown scarring and tempting us at the same time.
In all cultures, there is this day with unique traditions when gates between the living and the other side almost opens and echoes in our minds. It has different names in different cultures, but the same meaning: to remind ourselves that we are only guests in this life, and to show our deep respect and gratitude to the spiritual world embracing us, to celebrate the LIFE and not to fear the UNKNOWN. We can meet this day with a big smile, scarring our fear away with costumes, brightening the dark with lanterns, with a peace of ourselves understanding, that we are a part of the unknown, only living a short lesson of life, here on Earth.

Parisian

One sunny early summer day our team got together for an all white play date and put together a vision board of how we imagine a Parisian girl in summer.

Our girl lives in Paris, loves gaiety and feels free.
She wants to enjoy every day of the summer.
She takes on all pleasant challenges of life.
She likes to write about all of the beautiful moment of her days.
She doesn't worry about her weight and loves sweets.
She wears white gauzy vintage lace dress and her old faithful plimsolls..... Last night she danced at a night club, gambled at the casino, and woke up on the beach....
She knows, she's the most stylish one this summer....

Graduation and Congratulation

First summer days for many parents are so busy, so exciting and full of worries. It is time of graduation. Parents are happy and proud of their children. No matter how old they are, no matter what they finished - a season at local sports activity school, last year at kindergarten or high school. Happy to see their proud faces when they receive their first diploma from a coach or a medal for the best results in all city. All year parents do their best to give the children crafts, sports and art education. Support them as they need. Keep fingers crossed at the exams. And now it's finished - Congratulations! All their milestones are reached. Very personal milestones, depending on their age, goals and possibilities. And of course, the biggest congratulations - for High School Graduates.

It's time to thank the teachers and give memorable presents.

Give inspiring gift for grads and wish all the best for the futures ways and paths.

And the most pleasant event - a big party to celebrate. Lets party!

Feminine Pastries

Sunny, warm spring day, a blooming garden, intoxicating with its smells, melody of bird songs and a pleasant company of your friends...

Messy homes, husbands and children just don`t exist here. We own these few hours, us, women. There`s not much until full joy. Little chats about nothing, a cup of black coffee and sweet, airy pastries with mascarpone cheese and fresh berry filling.

You`ll need (for the pastry):

.  1 cup (250 ml) of milk
.  1,76 oz (50 g) of butter
.  2 cups (240 g) of white flour
.  5 medium sized eggs
.  a pinch of salt and sugar

In a saucepan combine milk, butter, salt, sugar and bring the mixture to a simmer. Once it starts to bubble, immediately add the flour and mix it well with all of the elbow grease you have, until the dough forms into a ball . Leave the dough to cool down a little bit.
Once it's cooled, with a wooden spoon or an electric mixer (with the dough hook attachment) mix the dough while adding the eggs one at a time. Mix until the eggs are well incorporated.
Preheat the oven to 410-428 F ( 210-220 C). The dough can be transported to a pastry bag with a large piping tip or you can just form them with a spoon. Pipe small amounts of the dough on a non-stick baking pan (or line a regular pan with parchment paper). Don`t forget to leave a lot of space in between as the dough expands as it bakes.
Bake for about 20 min until golden (baking time depends on the size of the pastries).
Let them cool on a rack.

My tip. While the pastries are cooling, lock the kitchen, or make your husband to take the children for a walk, because the pastries are absolutely delicious on their own, and because of that, they might magically disappear and you`ll have nothing to put the filling into.

For the filling:

.  0,6 cup (150 g) mascarpone (or cream) cheese
.  2-3 tbsp confectioners sugar
.  juice of half a lemon
.  zest of one lemon
.  fresh berries of your choice

Mix the mascarpone cheese with the lemon juice, confectioners sugar and lemon zest.
Cut the pastries just a bit (they will be hollow inside) and fill them with the cream. Decorate with berries. If you want, you can sprinkle a bit of confectioners sugar or grate black chocolate on top.
Enjoy!
